Five Beauty Trends from PFW A/W 2015

Who else is sad that the big four for Fashion Month are over? (*quietly raises hand*) Okay, let's finish out these posts with the five beauty trends from Parish Fashion Week A/W 2015. This season was all about an ultra natural, laid back, look - classic Parisienne . From pulled back hair to barely any make up it's probably the easiest trends to mimic. But that's not to say there weren't a few curve balls. Let's take a look:

Barely There
Paris definitely emphasized an au naturale approach to beauty. Dewy skin, undetectable blush, and clear complexions are what's on the menu at Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney, and Chloe (along with countless others). Sure to be a quick morning makeup routine, use this as a way to get some extra ZZZs and catch up on your beauty sleep.

Eye Focus
While the make up may be minimal that doesn't mean you can't play up your eyes. Anthony Vaccarello showed half stars, Dior covered nearly the whole eyelid in blues, greens or purples, and Rochas featured above and below eyeliner. Put your blush away and reach for the shadow and liner instead.
Bold Lips
Not a fan of eyeliner? Keep your face bare and instead make your pout the star of the show. For the classics - Celine featured orange/red lips, the daring - check Emanuel Ungaro's purple almost black shade, and for the ultra daring - take the eyeliner trend pair it with bright pink lips and you got Saint Laurent

Bat Your Lashes
One thing we all can agree on (regardless of your stance on the bold lips/eyliner front) is that long full eyelashes is perfection. Giambattia Valli, Nina Ricci and Miu Miu piled on plenty of mascara on their models' lashes giving them a doll like appearance. So sweet.

 Part It To The Side
Forget center parts, forget slicked back, A/W 2015 is about the deep side part. Wear it loose like at Dries van Norten and Balmain or pull it back with a headband like at Chanel. It'll give you a cool girl messy vibe instead of the sleekness of a center part.

Well that wraps up the big four! I'll be keeping tabs on the rest of the shows coming up (hello Tokyo, hello Sydney, hello Istabul).  Can't wait to see next season!
