Current Favorites #3

A few things I've been rather fond of as of late. As you can see I'm a bit obsessed with palm print... but there are some new and old beauty favs along with other bits.

Crazy For Palm Print
My love of palm print has reached peak insanity. I've been eying and buying nearly anything and everything that has this tropical print. I can't resist! Recent favorites has been this lightweight scarf that can double as a wrap (similar), these gorgeous neoprene shorts, and this amazingly palm beachy scented candle. Now to figure out how I can get a palm tree in my room....

New Kicks
I had been looking for a new pair of sneakers for a while now but hadn't been really sold on any. My brother loves his ADIDAS so after browsing their site I stumbled upon these beauties and instantly purchased. I will say, if you're a woman look into getting the kids sizes. Not only are the less expensive but I've found they run a little big. I sized down and probably could have still sized down and a half!

Beauty Bits
I've tired to reign in my beauty shopping a bit as I have more make up products than any one girl should own. However, I recently ran out of my beloved British Nanny Moisturizer. Only avaliable across the pond when my last bit was gone I tried to find a new moisturizer to take it's place without much success. My dear friend Rudi, who is an ANGEL, sent this to me as a surprise and I nearly cried. Second to Stila's Kitten, this eyeshadow by Sephora called Girl Talk is newest eyeshadow staple. It's such a pretty light pink with lots and lots of glitter. My hair isn't exactly curly, but it is wavy, and extremely thick. Straightening it is such a chore that I dread doing it. I was rather dubious on how effective Garnier's Fructis Sleek & Shine Flatiron Express would be in managing my mane but it is seriously the shiz. It keeps my hair feeling soft and healthy, not dried and fried, and it cuts down the time it usually takes to straighten my hair. You can't beat the price either!

Odds & Ends
It's happened, I'm a Game of Thrones convert. I still haven't seen the show (no HBO don't spoil anything for me!) but I'm on the second book and am obsessed. I also just recently bought myself a cheeky GoT merch that I'll have to share in a later post.... My tea game as slowed down a bit with the warmer, humid weather we've been having here in Maryland. However, when I do make myself a pot I love Kusmi's Rose Green Tea. All of Kusmi's teas are fantastic, but the Rose Green Tea is truly indulgent. Smells amazing, tastes amazing, if you're a fan of floral teas definitely buy this!

As I'm heading to California next month I'm sure there will be a rather California inspired current favorites next time around!
